Learn more about opioid use disorder treatment options and fulfill the new DEA requirement for controlled substance prescribing

Buprenorphine can be prescribed by a variety of providers. You no longer need a special designation (X waiver) to prescribe buprenorphine.  Additionally, as part of the MAT/MATE act, all individuals with a DEA registration to prescribe controlled substances must now participate in an 8 hour training regarding treatment of SUD.  Through Providers Clinical Support System our team offers special training that gives an overview of buprenorphine and best treatment practices that meets the MAT/MATE act requirements.  See below for upcoming trainings offered by HEALing Communities Study faculty.
